Product data policy

• Manufacturer sources only. Specifications come from the manufacturer’s product pages, manuals or technical documents. Each figure links to its source and shows the date we checked it.
• Derived figures are labeled. If we calculate a figure from other published values, the product page says so and shows how.
• Missing figures stay missing. If a manufacturer does not publish a figure, we mark it “not published” and the planner does not rely on it.
• Generator listing rule. We list generators only when the manufacturer states an automatic carbon monoxide shutoff meeting ANSI/PGMA G300-2023 or UL 2201.
• Rechecks. We aim to recheck specifications at least every 90 days and to check CPSC recalls monthly. Products with an open recall are removed.
